What the role involves

In this role you have the opportunity to teach blockchain concepts to learners of all levels, from beginners to seasoned experts, customising your approach to meet diverse educational needs. You also stay at the forefront of blockchain developments, and you may take the lead in hosting some of our XRPL Commons events.

You are not on your own. The academy gives you openly licensed materials to build from, 1:1 coaching for new content creators, and a community of trainers who review each other's work and co-deliver sessions.

What we look for

We are seeking someone who is genuinely excited about new technologies, has a natural gift for teaching, and possesses strong English communication skills. Proficiency in additional languages is a bonus.

You do not need to be a deep protocol engineer. A trainer is recognised for pedagogy, for turning understanding into someone else's learning. The teaching craft from the earlier modules is exactly what the role asks for.

How to apply

Applications used to go through an external form. They now run inside the academy: a short, native application form you complete without leaving the site.

Apply to the instructor pool

The form takes a few minutes. It asks who you are, whether you have taught a course on blockchain or on the XRP Ledger, what you hope to gain from XRPL Commons, and your availability, with room for a comment at the end. You can submit it while logged in to the academy, and you can revisit your past applications from the same page.

Once you submit, XRPL Commons reviews your application and follows up by email. That is the whole process: fill in the form, submit, and we take it from there.

Check

You are ready when you have submitted your application through the academy form, or drafted the answers you will submit: your teaching background, whether you have taught blockchain or the XRP Ledger, what you hope to gain from XRPL Commons, and your current availability. If you are not ready to submit yet, writing the answers out is a useful rehearsal, and it shows you where your own story is strongest.
